Keynote Speakers
Cristina Rivera Garza: Mexican writer, historian, and scholar recognized for her innovative work in narrative, poetry, and essay. Born in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, she has built a literary career characterized by formal experimentation and genre blending. Some of her most notable works include Nadie me verá llorar (1999), La cresta de Ilión (2002), and El invencible verano de Liliana (2021), where she explores themes such as memory, gender violence, and identity.
Jorge Carrión: Spanish writer, literary critic, and essayist born in Tarragona. His work spans various genres, including novels, essays, and chronicles, with a particular focus on travel literature, digital culture, and memory. Some of his most recognized books include Librerías (2013), Los muertos (2010), and Barcelona. Libro de los pasajes (2017). He has collaborated with international media outlets, including The New York Times and El País, writing about literature, technology, and contemporary culture. He currently directs the Master’s in Creative Writing at Pompeu Fabra University.
Amandititita: Mexican singer and writer, born in 1979 in Tampico, Tamaulipas. She is known for her musical style called «anarcumbia», a fusion of cumbia with punk and hip-hop, blending satire and social critique. She made her debut with the album La Reina de la Anarcumbia (2008) and has published several books, including 13 Latas de Atún (2015), El Crimen de la Autopista del Norte (2022), and Un día contaré esta historia (One Day I Will Tell This Story, 2025).
Liliana Colanzi (Santa Cruz, Bolivia, 1981) is a writer, editor, translator, and scholar. She won the Aura Estrada Prize in 2015 for her short stories «Caníbal» and «Chaco,» and was a finalist for the Gabriel García Márquez Short Story Prize with her book Nuestro mundo muerto (Our Dead World). She is the founding editor of Dum Dum, an independent publishing house based in Bogotá that began operating in 2017. In March 2022, she was awarded the International Ribera del Duero Prize for her collection Ustedes brillan en lo oscuro (You Glow in the Dark).

Sumilla: Más allá del canon, y desde una mirada dinámica y virtual que se conecta a través de las redes sociales, la ruptura de compartimientos estancos en la literatura contemporánea actual transgrede lo trasatlántico, la rigidez teórica, las hibridaciones formales y metodológicas, y las fronteras entre lo tecnológico y lo filológico para expandir una obra en la escritura digital, como lo hizo Margo Glantz. Sus textos se trasladaron a un cambio, un giro, un profundo retuiteo de la equis que Glantz usó para retar al producto comercial de una sola letra que se enhebra y se multiplica en la escritura. Con los nuevos cambios políticos y el auge de otros movimientos virtuales, vale la pena volver a sus palabras para hilvanar un nuevo tejido de la memoria.

Cátedra de Literatura Venezolana José Antonio Ramos Sucre
La Cátedra Internacional de Literatura Venezolana José Antonio Ramos Sucre se fundó mediante convenio de la Universidad de Salamanca con el Consejo Nacional de la Cultura (CONAC) de Venezuela con fecha de 16 de noviembre de 1993, y en la actualidad está auspiciada por el Ministerio de Cultura y gestionada por la Plataforma del Libro y la Lectura de este país. Su objetivo es la promoción, el estudio y la investigación de la literatura venezolana desde sus orígenes aunque con especial incidencia en los autores contemporáneos.
